Advantage Bait and Tackle Tip: Modifing a Crankbait!
Try this tip with a deep-running crankbait: Remove the rear hook from the crankbait and add a split ring with a worm hook. Rig it with your favorite soft plastic worm. You can also remove the forward hook if you are fishing is the weed beds. Removing the forward hook makes the lure almost weedless.
